Leavin on a Jet Plane

Today I am hopping a plane to Nashville to surprise my dad for his 50th birthday. I hope he is surprised and happy! I'm staying with my sister tonight, and then she's going to take me to my parents house tomorrow afternoon. We are going to bake a cake for him too. I'm staying for the weekend and coming back home late Monday night. It's a good weekend for me to get out of Oswego because it's going to be bitterly cold with lots of lake effect snow. It's my first time flying alone, and I'm a little nervous. At least I'll have some time to do knitting while on the plane! I have a 3 hour block of time from JFK to Nashville. Hopefully I don't get stuck sitting next to a large person and have no room. Oh well, it's all worth it! I can't wait!
