Socks!

I'm working diligently on finishing a pair of socks in progress. The yarn really isn't that much of a dream to work with, but I love it just the same. I got it from the Rhinebeck show from the Maple Creek Farm booth. It was one of the best booths there, and next year that will be one of the first booths we visit. The make up is superwash wool/bamboo/nylon and it was only $14 for 350 yards. Not a bad price! The color is called Rosebud. The pattern I'm using is the jaywalker pattern and I love it. I already finished one sock and when I tried it on, it seems so soft and heavenly. I can't wait to wear them. I really want to finish the second one before my Socks that Rock come in the mail. That could be any day now. In fact (don't tell my husband this) I'm skipping out on drill so I can work on the sock! Wow, I'm really a nerd. Oh well. I'm seriously addicted. Check out the pics of this beautiful yarn. I also have some in lime green.

I am drooling over the texture of that yarn! I did not know that they made yarn with bamboo mixed in--I have some store bought socks that are made of bamboo and they are the most comfortable socks I have!
